The band Dragon Pony has successfully completed their first-ever club tour, ‘Dragon Pony POP-UP Club LIVE.’
The tour concluded on November 24th with a performance in Jeonju, marking the final stop of a four-city journey that began on November 1st in Seoul’s CLUB FF, followed by CLUB A.O.R, Interplay in Busan, and The Musician in Jeonju. All four shows sold out, highlighting the band’s rising popularity and ticket power.
‘POP-UP Club LIVE’ was Dragon Pony’s debut club tour, showcasing the unique talents and charms of each member through dynamic performances. Their setlist featured tracks from their first EP ‘POP UP,’ as well as unreleased original songs. They kept audiences engaged by varying the order and composition of the setlist at each venue. Songs like ‘POP UP,’ ‘Waste,’ ‘Rock Star,’ ‘Earthquake,’ ‘Earth Boy,’ ‘Traffic Jam,’ ‘Pity Punk,’ and ‘Summerless Dream’ embodied the intense yet youthful energy of the band, seamlessly transitioning between powerful and refreshing moods.
Beyond the music, Dragon Pony captivated fans with visually stunning performances, incorporating creative outfits and accessories. During the track ‘Stupid,’ members donned sunglasses and performed dynamic back-to-back stunts. For the Jeonju finale, they appeared in school uniforms, further thrilling the audience.
Dragon Pony officially debuted in September with their first EP ‘POP UP.’ Within a month, they performed at major festivals such as the ‘2024 Busan International Rock Festival’ and the ‘Grand Mint Festival 2024,’ where they won the ‘Best Rookie’ award for their electrifying stage presence.
Having completed their debut club tour, Dragon Pony is now gearing up for upcoming performances, including ‘Countdown Fantasy 2024-2025’ on December 30th, promising more exciting stages for fans.
