Multiple artists, including Epik High, John Park, and Jang Jae-In, have withdrawn from the 'Youth Weather Night Festival' following alleged breaches of contract by the event organizers.
On April 26, Jang Jae-In announced on social media, "My performance at the festival scheduled for May 3 has been canceled due to the organizers' failure to fulfill the contract." She added, "Many artists are now facing a difficult situation. We are working to find a solution. It’s disappointing to encounter such issues during preparations."
Music Farm Entertainment, the agency representing John Park, also issued a statement, saying, "John Park, who was scheduled to perform at the 'Youth Weather Night Festival' on May 3, has canceled his appearance due to the organizers' failure to meet contractual obligations. We sincerely apologize to the fans and are doing our best to minimize confusion and inconvenience."
While the specific terms violated were not disclosed, Jang Jae-In’s remarks suggest that critical contract conditions were not honored. Several other artists scheduled to perform are reportedly facing similar difficulties.
The festival organizers released an apology, stating, "We sincerely apologize for the unavoidable lineup changes due to internal circumstances. The following artists will unfortunately not perform at the event."
Artists who canceled include John Park, Moonbyul, Ulala Session, Jang Jae-In, Seeso, Dickpunks, Lee Byungchan, Suran, Sohyang, Epik High, and Lee Solomon.

The organizers announced they would provide full ticket refunds to customers who no longer wish to attend, with automatic refunds processed without separate applications. They also apologized for the sudden changes and pledged to deliver a memorable event with the remaining performers.
Initially promoted as a major festival featuring a diverse lineup aimed at young audiences, the 'Youth Weather Night Festival' now faces challenges in maintaining momentum following the controversy.
