On the latest video uploaded to DdeunDdeun YouTube channel, comedians Heo Kyung Hwan and Kim Young Chul chatted with Yoo Jae Suk. The group discussed rare celebrity sightings, with Kim Young Chul describing the time he unexpectedly saw actor Won Bin:
“I got on a 10-hour flight to Paris, and while on the plane, I saw someone who was wearing a hood get on. As soon as I saw him, I thought, ‘Who is that?’ Even then, I could tell he was a celebrity, and aren’t there some times you just want to confirm it and find out who it is? I went to the bathroom, and on the way there, I saw them. It was two people together, and I recognized them as Won Bin and Lee Na Young. I couldn’t help but say ‘wow’ as I went by, it was shocking to see such a beautiful couple. I remember my mouth fell open at the sight of this couple in real life.”
Heo Kyung Hwan and Yoo Jae Suk told Kim Young Chul that he should have greeted Won Bin and Lee Na Young at that time, but Kim Young Chul answered that he had wanted to respect the couple’s personal space and privacy. “I don’t think they saw me, so that’s why I didn’t greet them.”
Yoo Jae Suk then made a surprising admission: “The only celebrity I haven’t met yet is Won Bin. I’ve never seen him before.” Heo Kyung Hwan agreed, saying, “I’ve also never seen him.”
Kim Young Chul revealed that Won Bin is the most handsome male celebrity he’s ever seen in real life.
The famous comedians’ stories have only added to Won Bin’s mysterious image. The actor is known as one of the most reclusive and rarely seen celebrities, having only starred in five films total. His last movie appearance was as the main character in The Man From Nowhere (2010), and he has rarely been seen since then.
