Starship Entertainment, home to IVE and Monsta X, is progressing with its large-scale global project 'Debut’s Plan', which documents the debut journey of its new boy group, New Kids.

On April 25, the 'New Kids on the Starship' YouTube channel aired 'EP.8 Semi-Final LIVE', featuring the sixth mission, the 'Pre-DEBUT Evaluation'. Under the observation of the Debut’s Plan board, trainers, and over 1,500 fans, the trainees showcased a range of performances, including 'I’m OK, You’re OK', 'DWN', 'So G.oo.D', 'New A.G.K.', and 'Balla'.

Following the evaluation, 12 finalists were confirmed for the 'Final Debut Evaluation'. The lineup includes Kim Min-jae, Kim Ji-yong, Park Sung-hyun, Park Jun-hwan, Park Won-bin, Baek Junh-yuk, Wu Hao, Lee Tae-gun, Jang Kyu-hyun, Jang Yong-hoon, Jung Se-min, and Chu Yu-chan.

The finalists were determined through a combined scoring system: 25% from the first round of fan voting, 25% from the second, and 50% from the third round, conducted via the official site (newkids.co.kr). Selections were made by both the Debut’s Plan board and global fans. Additionally, Park Sung-hyun was awarded the 'Debut’s Super Pass', securing his spot in the final lineup.

Two songs, 'Moment That Pierces Through Dreams' and 'Crown in Bloom', were unveiled as the final tracks for the upcoming evaluation. Fans will decide which song the trainees will perform through a matching vote.

The selection method for the final seven debut members has also been revealed. Five members will be chosen based on a combination of fan votes and board evaluation, weighted equally at 50%. Voting is open until 10 a.m. KST on May 3. The remaining two spots will be filled through a 'Fan SAVE' and 'Board SAVE' system, determined during the live final broadcast.

The 'Final Debut Evaluation' will be broadcast live on May 4 at 8 p.m. KST as part of 'EP.9'.
