ZEROBASEONE member Sung Han Bin has been newly appointed as the MC following Kang Daniel, who has led since 2021. Sung Han Bin shared his thoughts recently on taking over the role after Kang Daniel in 4 years.

Set to premiere on Tuesday, May 27, Mnet’s 'World of Street Woman Fighter' (WSWF) is the third season of the hit series 'Street Woman Fighter.' This season expands to an international competition featuring five countries: Korea, New Zealand, the U.S., Japan, and Australia.

Sung Han Bin, leader of ZEROBASEONE and widely known for his dance talent in the K-pop industry, has been chosen as the new MC. With his sincere passion for dance and growing MC experience, expectations are high for his performance.

Ahead of the premiere, Sung Hanbin shared in a Q&A interview, “I’ve genuinely enjoyed every season so far, and having dance experience myself makes this program all the more meaningful to me. I’ve watched videos of every dancer who’s appeared on the show - that’s how passionate I am about dance. As a true fan, I’m honored to take on the MC role for 'World of Street Woman Fighter'.”

Regarding his groupmates’ reaction, he added, “They told me, ‘Just go as Sung Han Bin being Sung Han Bin.’ That encouraged me.”

This season of 'WSWF' features a top-tier global lineup of six dance crews: AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY. 

Han Bin noted that one of the show's main highlights will be his “genuine reactions” to the performances from these world-class crews. He said, “I hope to be remembered as an MC who nails every aspect of hosting, visuals, dance ability, and reactions.”

Q: How do you feel about being cast in 'World of Street Woman Fighter,' and what are your goals?
"I’ve enjoyed all the previous seasons and have a dance background, so this program holds special meaning for me. I’m steadily building my experience to show a capable and reliable side as an MC. I’ve studied and practiced a lot, so I hope everyone looks forward to and supports me as the MC of 'WSWF'."

Q: Have you always enjoyed the 'Street Woman Fighter' and 'Street Man Fighter' series?
"Absolutely. I’ve watched videos of every single dancer who's appeared. My passion for dance is that deep. I’ve followed every season, and I think I’ll fall in love with 'WSWF' just as much. It’s truly an honor to go from being a fan to becoming the MC."

Q: You must feel some pressure. How do you hope to define your MC style?
"It’d be a lie to say I don’t feel pressure. But as someone who’s watched every season as a fan, I naturally think, “From a viewer’s perspective, what kind of MC would make the show more enjoyable?” I want to fulfill my role faithfully and also help create an environment where the contestants can perform at their very best. Ultimately, I hope to be remembered as an MC who nails every aspect of hosting, visuals, dance ability, and reactions."

Q: What did the other ZEROBASEONE members say when they heard the news?
"Even when I don’t make announcements, the members are always the first to congratulate me when something good happens. This time, (Park) Gun Wook told me, “I think this is a great opportunity to show everything you’ve built up so far. Just go in there as 'Sung Han Bin being Sung Han Bin.' That encouraged me."

Q: With the first broadcast approaching on May 27, what should viewers look forward to?
"There are so many diverse and talented dancers, each team with its own distinct flavor. You’ll see their abilities shine not only in group routines but especially in solo battles, and that’s when my real-time reactions will come out. I think that could be a fun point for viewers to watch too."
