Management SOOP, the agency representing actress Seo Hyun Jin, has issued a statement regarding a doctored image suggesting her support for Han Dong Hoon, a presidential primary candidate from the People Power Party.

A representative from Management SOOP stated on April 28th KST, “We have never been contacted regarding the use of Seo Hyun Jin’s portrait, nor were we aware of its usage. We did not grant permission or provide the image for any purpose.”

Previously, in a group chat among Han Dong Hoon’s supporters, a poster featuring both Han and Seo Hyun Jin was circulated. In the image, Seo Hyun Jin is seen wearing a red top, leading to speculation that she was endorsing Han Dong Hoon.

However, it was clarified that the photo of Seo Hyun Jin was taken in 2016 as part of a commercial shoot, and the red outfit matched the logo color of the brand at that time.

Meanwhile, the 21st presidential election is scheduled to take place on June 3rd.
