Lim Young Woong's agency, Mulgogi Music, has announced that the singer will proceed with his upcoming concerts to honor the victims of the recent Jeju Air passenger plane tragedy, despite the heartbreaking circumstances.
On December 31, Mulgogi Music expressed its condolences, stating, "We offer our deepest condolences to the victims of this tragic accident and their families. We sincerely empathize with everyone grieving during this difficult time."
Lim Young Woong, who has been meeting fans with his 'Lim Young Woong Recital' concerts at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, is set to perform through the end of 2024 and into early 2025.
The singer’s team, who will perform during the national period of mourning from January 2 to 4, explained, "After much contemplation, we decided to proceed with the concerts to fulfill the promises made to our long-awaited fans and the dedicated staff and participants involved in the preparations."
They continued, "With deep respect for those in mourning, we are determined to make this performance a meaningful moment of solace and hope. We hope to overcome this challenging time together, as one." For those who do not wish to attend the concert, full refunds are available without any cancellation fees up until the day before the performance.
