When asked about his grades, Roy Kim said, "I took a lot of hard courses because of my passion for studying and taking notes. I did not do well my first semester. I got a knack for it in the second semester."
"What's your reason for continuing to study diligently?" asked Yoo Hee Yeol. The singer replied, "The things I learn while going to school are very help when it comes to music. I think I grow a lot when doing music after learning about feelings and experiences in life."
