Singer Jang Jae In left some shocking news for fans as she revealed that she's been suffering from peripheral nerve damage.
Jang Jae In's camp confirmed on the 19th, "She received treatment at the hospital and was diagnosed with a peripheral nerve injury. We are currently looking into the exact cause of the injury and doctors think it may have been due to stress."
Jang Jae In updated fans with the unfortunate news, writing, "I apologize for sharing the news now. Since the winter of last year, my health condition has not been good and I was diagnosed with a peripheral nerve injury. Starting last month, my body has been acting funny. My stamina has also dropped. Even if it takes some time, I will work hard in receiving treatment. I will definitely recover."
It is reported that her condition has caused her to experience issues with the left side of her body, and thus, she is having problems with her left ear as well as feeling awkward when trying to play her guitar. Her reps have also mentioned that the left side of her face has begun to experience symptoms of paralysis as well.
As expected, the singer will be halting her activities including preparations for upcoming album and broadcast activities. Her agency revealed that although Jang Jae In wants to be able to continue her activities and attend treatment sessions, the hospital has said that she will need to be treated while admitted into the hospital for some time.
We hope her treatment process goes smoothly and that she'll make a complete recovery soon.
