Netizens highlighted similarities between Red Velvet's "One of These Nights" music video and IVE's MMA VCR.

On November 26th, the '2022 Melon Music Awards' took place, and many artists including (G)I-DLE, IVE, NewJeans, and TXT attended the show. Shortly after the show, however, what caught many netizens' attention was unrelated to the show itself. Netizens noticed the similarities between Red Velvet's "One of These Nights" music video and IVE's MMA VCR introducing their hit song "After Like."

Some comments include: "I thought it was going to be another forced 'controversy' but then these two are way too similar." 

"This is Starship's fault smh"

"They won Daesang and then their label is overshadowing their accomplishment with this crap"

"Is there a third reference? Otherwise, these two are too similar."

"Of course, it's Starship and IVE again smh"

"At this point Starship is sabotaging IVE"

"This is straight-up plagiarizing"

"IVE members are so talented and hard-working but then their label is creating noise ugh"

"To make matters even worse IVE's VCR is worse in quality than Red Velvet's MV which was released 5~6 years ago."
