Rapper Jay Park revealed he plans to retire in a few years.
On April 16, the AOMG and H1ghr Music head posted to Twitter, "I'm gonna retire in a couple years~ this is a promise to you guys and myself. Not a lot of space for guys like me left in this game." Fans were surprised to see a statement like this from Jay Park, and they're wondering if the 31-year-old rapper was serious about retiring soon.
In other news, AOMG will be launching a hip hop audition program before July this year. Stay tuned for updates.
That might be the day I quit kpop. For me nobody makes those fun pop/r&b or hip hop tracks like Jay Park and AOMG. I like Crush to but that will be all I have left.

Not sure if what he is saying here is true but it would be sad to see him go away from entertainment. I might not have been a big fan of some of his latest releases and I also found some of his actions a bit strange (working with 6ix9ine and somewhat supporting him). Nonetheless Jay is an amazing artist and perhaps one of the contributing factors that made me more interested in Korean culture and K-shows/music.
