G-Friend's Yuju
While fans of G-Friend absolutely love Yuju's hilarious personality and great singing prowess, it seems that few people outside of the fandom seem as aware of her positives. Although she's still young when it comes to singing, her technique is very on point with a lot of potential for growth. In variety shows, she's proven again and again that there's nothing she can't do - and she's hilarious to boot - so she probably deserves more love than she's getting!
EXID's LE
While male idol-producers in K-Pop get a lot of love, there's still not as much acknowledgment given to LE, who pens most of EXID's hits. She's an extremely talented songwriter, and people like her rapping, but they don't seem to fully appreciate how talented she is at it, not to mention her voice is extremely unique. She may not shine as much next to characters like Hani or Solji, but she's definitely as talented.
BESTie's U.JI
This former EXID member is just starting to grab long overdue attention now through 'Girl Spirit.' She has an incredible voice that is both powerful and well controlled. She is clearly well trained and a natural at singing, but she hasn't grabbed attention quite yet. It even took Solji a long time to get her name out there; unfortunately, proof once again that talent doesn't always prevail, especially in K-Pop.
Spica's Bohyung
This Spica member is another example of incredible talent left in the dark. Of course her group as a whole is super talented, but Bohyung has continuously put herself out there, even winning on '100-Seconds War,' which earned her fame - but brief and not enough fame. Considering how often she's tried to make a move to up her popularity, she definitely deserve more love. Now she's on 'Girl Spirit,' too, so hopefully, she'll get the recognition she deserves.
Red Velvet's Wendy
It seems Wendy is not the most popular member of Red Velvet, but she very well might be the most talented - she is the main vocalist after all. Like Tiffany, whose vocals remained hidden by SM earlier in Girls' Generation's career for some reason, Wendy has a very soulful, sassy sound, super easy on the ears. She's a good singer and she's under SM, so why is she not as popular as her other members?
Dal Shabet's Subin
One area to blame for Subin's lack of popularity is the agency because Dal Shabet's songs definitely do no justice to Subin's vocals. Finally, the agency stepped up, though, to allow her to release solo songs that fit better with her voice and the music she was interested in - and thank goodness for that! I had no idea she was actually such a talented singer until I heard her solo music. She also dabbles in songwriting, showing passion for the music, so let's give her some more love!
MAMAMOO's Whee In
Whee In is for some reason the least popular member of MAMAMOO, it seems. Solar is the main vocalist with the voice and visuals everyone loves, Hwa Sa has that diva sass and hot body, and Moon Byul is too chic that girls can't help but crush on her, so Whee In might not seem to have that extra spice to stand out in the group, but she is definitely super talented and lovable. She is popular, for sure, but she should be more popular because she's got an amazing voice and sweet yet funny personality; girl's got dat swag and knows how to work up the crowd - she's a true performer.
Wonder Girls' Yenny
Wonder Girls member Yenny proved through her solo work as HA:TFELT that her vocals were as good as ever - but more than that, she has immense musical talent. She created the whole album pretty much with original works that was very impressive. She might not have that star quality, but she's definitely a bundle of talent that for far too long had been overlooked in a popular group like Wonder Girls.
Badkiz' Monika
This Badkiz member has been releasing impressive covers and covers until she finally made her solo debut with "Goodbye" - but this song was sorely overlooked by the public, despite being a very catchy and jazzy song backed by her charismatic vocals. She has that diva vibe and the lovely, deep voice to go with it, but since her group is not that well known, she continues to be left in the dark. She's very talented and should get more love!
Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo
Another talented rapper who is not as appreciated as the other members in the group, Miryo started off as an underground rapper and is appreciated for her talent, but not as big with the public for some reason. Hopefully her appearance on 'Unpretty Rapstar' will change that and more people will discover what a fierce spitter she truly is! Watch her impressive freestyle above!
