According to the latest update on DKZ member Kyoungyoon, the idol is said to be suffering from anxiety disorder and sociophobia following the JMS controversy and will be halting activities.
On April 19, Dongyo Entertainment posted a notice on DKZ's official fan website stating that there has been a schedule change for the group. The agency explained, "We are writing this to inform you about the Cultwo Show Bosung schedule, planned for the coming 29th, and the future activities of Kyoungyoon."
The label continued, "Recently, we were informed that there have been repeated complaints (to the Bosung-gun office and the National Shinmoongo) requesting the cancellation of the artist's appearance. As a result, the Bosung County Office officials have gone through the trouble of responding directly to the civil complaints."
Dongyo Entertainment continued to state, "Only five DKZ members (Sehyeon, Mingyu, Jae Chan, Jong Hyeong, Giseok) will participate in this event. We apologize to everyone who has experienced inconvenience due to the sudden change in the number of members who will appear."
The agency also gave an update on Kyoungyoon and shared, "Kyoungyoon feels a heavy sense of responsibility for the incident related to him and is receiving treatment and counseling. He has been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and sociophobia. He will focus on treatment and stability for the time being."
Dongyo Entertainment concluded the statement with, "All issues that arise in matters related to our artists are due to our inadequacies. In the future, we will make plans and decisions with the safety and protection of our artists as our most important goal. We will work hard to gain the love and support from our fans as much as possible."
