Former footballer Park Joo Ho recently shared a heartwarming update on his wife Anna and their three children, revealing that the whole family participated in a marathon together.

On April 22, Park posted a photo on social media with the caption, “Our first marathon as a family.” The photo was taken at the 23rd Gyeonggi Marathon, held on April 20, and shows Park Joo Ho, Anna, and their three children—Na Eun, Gun Hoo, and Jin Woo—all smiling brightly with medals around their necks.

The moment marked a meaningful milestone, especially for Anna, who had previously revealed her battle with cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy, she had appeared publicly with a headscarf due to hair loss. In this latest photo, however, Anna looked noticeably healthier, which delighted fans who had been concerned about her condition.

Park Joo Ho married Anna, a Swiss national four years his junior, in 2015. They have two sons and one daughter, and the family received widespread love after appearing on the KBS 2TV show The Return of Superman.

In 2022, Anna shared her cancer diagnosis, which garnered widespread sympathy and support. Fortunately, the illness was caught early, and her condition improved significantly with treatment.

Park later appeared on a variety show and shared an update on her recovery, saying, “She hasn’t been declared completely cured, but her latest results were good. As long as we monitor things carefully, she’s in a stable condition.”

The family’s participation in the marathon not only signified a return to everyday happiness but also served as a symbol of resilience and love.
