Webtoon artist Kian84 has gifted BTS member Jin a special piece of artwork that’s gaining widespread attention.

On April 21st KST, Jin took to his personal account to share a photo of the gift, writing, “Kian84, thank you for the gift.” The image shows a glittering painting of a naked couple embracing—rendered in a shimmery texture that appears to be adorned with rhinestones or reflective materials.

What especially stood out was the couple’s purple coloring, interpreted by many as a thoughtful nod to BTS’s symbolic color, purple, often used to express trust and love between BTS and ARMY. Fans speculate that Kian84 created the piece with this in mind.

The painting is titled 'Last Couple,' and a different color version of it was previously showcased during Kian84’s 2023 solo exhibition 'Kian-Do.' At the time, Kian84 explained that the figures in the artwork wear medical cones—like those used for pets—symbolizing the self-imposed isolation of modern youth who increasingly prefer solitude at home over venturing out.

Kian84 and Jin recently formed a bond through the Netflix variety show ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’, where they star alongside creator Ji Ye Eun. The gift is seen as a personal gesture of gratitude from Kian84 to Jin.

Episodes 7 through 9 of ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ will be released on April 22nd at 4 p.m. KST via Netflix. The series reimagines chaos as charm, with healing moments hidden in hilarity, as Kian84 runs a guesthouse where Jin and Ji Ye Eun work as staff.
