Singer Insooni has issued an apology after posting a photo from Kim Jong Min’s wedding on social media, unintentionally revealing the face of his non-celebrity bride. 

What began as a heartfelt post turned into an unexpected controversy, leading Insooni to delete the photo and issue a public apology.

On Monday, April 21, Insooni wrote on her social media: “I didn’t realize the wedding was meant to be private. The couple looked so beautiful that I shared the photo without thinking.” She continued, “I personally apologized to the bride and groom this morning. They told me it was okay, but my heart still feels heavy and deeply sorry.”

Insooni expressed remorse, writing:“I should have been more careful and protective…”

She concluded by saying:“I sincerely wish the couple a life full of happiness and love.”

The controversy began on Sunday, April 20, when Insooni attended Kim Jong Min’s wedding and posted a photo of the bride and groom during the ceremony. However, the image included the face of Kim Jong Min’s wife, who had not previously been revealed to the public. This led to criticism from fans who felt the post lacked consideration for the couple’s privacy.

Since announcing his marriage, Kim Jong Min has been deliberately private about his non-celebrity wife, sharing only general anecdotes about their relationship while refraining from showing her face or personal details.

The wedding took place privately on April 20 at the Yeongbin Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, with a limited number of guests in attendance. It was described as a quiet and elegant ceremony.
