As director Hong Sang Soo prepares to release his latest film this May, he will once again forgo meeting with the Korean press.

On April 21, the team behind the film 'What Does That Nature of Yours Mean to You?' announced the schedule for the upcoming press screening on April 30. They added, “There will be no press conference following the screening.”
The film tells the story of a poet named Dong hwa, who ends up at his lover Jun hee’s home by chance, and the events that unfold there. Hong Sang Soo directed the film, and Kim Min hee is credited as the production manager.

The film was previously invited to the 75th Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year in the competition section. At the time, Hong Sang Soo and his partner Kim Min hee, who was pregnant, attended the festival, though they did not win any awards.
Since their last public appearance in Korea at a press conference for 'On the Beach at Night Alone' in 2017—where they confirmed their romantic relationship—Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min hee have avoided domestic official appearances, while continuing to attend international festivals.
The couple publicly admitted to their romantic involvement in 2017, despite Hong Sang Soo still being legally married at the time. They have maintained their controversial relationship for nearly a decade.
At that 2017 press event, Hong Sang Soo tearfully stated, “We are in love. We are sincerely loving each other in our own way.” Kim Min hee added emotionally, “We are meeting and loving each other with sincerity. We humbly accept all the situations we are facing and those that lie ahead.”
Recently, it was revealed that the couple has welcomed a child. Kim Min hee, now 43, gave birth to her first child, and Hong Sang Soo, at 65, became a father again.
