Former NCT member Taeil and 2 other individuals facing charges of special "quasi-rape" (engaging in sexual intercourse with another person while they are unconscious or unable to resist, according to South Korean laws) will attend their first court hearing on May 12 KST.
Previously in June of 2024, Taeil and his 2 acquaintances were charged with raping a female victim while she was drunk. Afterward, rumors arose that Taeil had possessed a weapon at the time of the incident, but those rumors were proven false.
Meanwhile, Taeil did not appear for questioning during the duration of the initial police investigation, citing "health reasons". Many are curious to know if the former NCT member will make a public appearance for his first court hearing.
