Actors Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku are returning in a mystery thriller.
On April 17, Disney+ original series 'Nine Puzzle' (written by Lee Eun Mi, directed by Yoon Jong Bin) announced its streaming schedule, confirming that it will premiere on May 21.
'Nine Puzzle' is a mystery thriller that follows a profiler, once suspected of being a murderer, and a violent crimes detective as they unravel the secrets behind a newly resurfaced string of serial killings.
The official poster has also been unveiled, evoking memories of the incident from 10 years ago. It depicts the path taken by the sole witness, Lee Na (played by Kim Da Mi), as she heads home on the day of the crime.
The artwork resembles the cover of a crime novel, illustrated by artist Yeonyeo-in, who brought her signature artistic style to the piece. The poster exudes a chilly, mysterious atmosphere.
The strong contrast between red elements and an overall black-and-white tone draws the eye. A red rope hanging over a wall and vivid red light glowing through a window intensify curiosity about “that day.”
The production team commented, “Lee Na, who lost her memory, reunites with Han Saem (played by Son Suk Ku), who suspects her, now as a profiler and a detective. Please look forward to their chemistry.”
'Nine Puzzle' consists of a total of 11 episodes. Six episodes will be released on May 21, followed by three on May 28, and the final two on June 4.
