On April 17 KST, the 51st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ordered the YouTube channel HOVERLAB to remove all videos exposing the private life of YouTuber Tzuyang.
Previously, Tzuyang filed a court injunction to request the removal of videos posted by HOVERLAB on YouTube, exposing the fact that she had been blackmailed by 3 cyber wrecker YouTubers. One video contained a recording of a conversation between the cyber wreckers Goo Je Yeok, Jeon Guk Jin, and Caracula, plotting to extort money from Tzuyang. Another video exposed matters related to Tzuyang's private life, which Tzuyang claimed the YouTube channel obtained through stalking.
After reviewing the injunction request, the Seoul Central District Court concluded that HOVERLAB uploaded the videos on YouTube with the intent to "damage Tzuyang's reputation and violated Tzuyang's rights to privacy, constituting an account of defamation of character."
