South Korean figure skater Cha Jun Hwan showcased his chic charisma off the ice in a romantic pictorial with 'GQ Korea'.
For this pictorial, the figure skater pulled off styles ranging from young and trendy to mature and elegant while wearing signature 'BVLGARI' pieces.
During his interview, Cha Jun Hwan recalled the first time he ever stepped foot on the ice rink. "At the time, I was doing work as a child actor. I was a shy and quiet child back then. But figure skating is a sport where you take to the stage alone and show what you have in front of numerous spectators. I thought that it would help me improve my acting, which is why I decided to learn. But the moment I stepped out on the ice, I felt freedom like I'd never felt before. It was liberation," the figure skater commented.
Does he still feel that way about skating now? He answered, "It is a competitive sport that requires meticulous analysis, so I can't feel as much freedom as I did back then. But there is still the freedom to express myself. In figure skating, you create something out of nothing. I always have the most fun when I work on my choreography with my choreographer. I try not to limit myself to any rules or restraints and create freely, pouring myself into the process."
Meanwhile, earlier in February, Cha Jun Hwan became the first ever Korean to win the gold medal in men's singles figure skating at the '2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games'. He is next aiming for gold at the '2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics'.
