Girls' Generation have been on hiatus for over 2 years, with their last comeback dating back on September 5, 2018. Their sub-unit, OH!GG consists of the last 5 members that are still under SM Entertainment; the other 4 members have decided to pursue acting careers, etc under different agencies. It was recently rumored that Girl's Generation will have a comeback in the near future, consisting of all 8 members. 10. "Flyers"

This song might be an underrated one, but it is classified as one of their best Japanese song, mostly favored by anime fans for being like an anime soundtrack.

9. "Genie (Remix Version)"

 This song was performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City and it is one of the most iconic versions of Genie, with the rap part being sung by Tiffany, and also the iconic "Madison Square Garden put it back on!".

8. "Galaxy Supernova"

Galaxy Supernova was one of the biggest hits in Japan by Girl's Generation, with the vocal of Jessica being the prominent one.

7. "Into The New World (Remix Version)"

 Into The New World was hard itself until Girl's Generation leveled it up with the Remix Version, accompanied by their youthful looks with no makeup and with their vocals and hard choreography. 

6. "PAPARAZZI"

This song was performed at "SMtown live at Tokyo," and Girl's Generation slayed the concert.

5. "The Boys + I Got A Boy (ft. all fandom)"

This performance was a slap to all fandoms during their black ocean in 2008, making KBS edit the music because Girls Generation's voice was overshadowed by the fans.

4. "Catch Me If You Can"

This was performed at KCON New York in 2015 and it was said that almost half of the audience came because of Girls Generation and also, it was titled "The TOP Girl Group" in the YouTube video by MNET.

3. "Divine"

When it comes to ballad songs, no other Girl Group can defeat Girls Generation, Divine was a huge hit in Japan even it is a ballad song, and it was mostly played on the radio making it more successful. 

2. "Karma Butterfly"  

Even though Karma Butterfly was only a sidetrack of their Japanese album, it is still one of their best performance. Girls Generation was hailed as the K-POP Girl Group with the best Japanese Discography, with no one being close until today.

1. "Into The New World (Ballad Version)"

This song was performed at Tokyo Dome and is also called "Jessica's Dream Stage" by SONEs, but Jessica left the group before they could even perform here. This song was a very emotional one that even if you are not a fan of Girls Generation, it can make you tear up; this song also highlighted their vocals.
