Swing Entertainment announced their plans on the malicious posts involving Kim Jae Hwan.

On January 14, the agency shared the announcement, stating, "There were times where Jae Hwan, his family, and his loving fans were hurt by malicious posts of insults, sexual harassment, and defamation. However, after a long discussion with Jae Hwan and his family, we have decided to consider it as a wrong form of expression resulting from attention, and respect their (Jae Hwan and his family's) decision to deal with the malicious posts without taking legal action. We ask the fans to also understand Jae Hwan and his family's decision."

Swing Entertainment emphasized they will take strong action against malicious posts even though there will be no legal measures involved.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae Hwan officially signed with Swing Entertainment following Wanna One's disbandment on December 31.
