The 'twerking idols' Wassup had their debut stage on the August 7 episode of MBC Music 'Show Champion', and the girls explained why they chose to debut on a cable show.
Their clothes were banned from the three major terrestrial stations (KBS, SBS, MBC), who deemed their outfits problematic because their shorts and skirts were too short. The girls explained, "The outfits didn't pass the regulations on the major stations because they were too sexual. But since it was our first stage going to the public, we decided to put on our color and genre perfectly on a cable show, where free expression is more allowed."

They added, "It could be a little shocking, but we can put on a unique debut stage. We'll be completely different from a basic girl group and let Wassup's own color known. You can look forward to it."
