SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan's solo track 'Better Half' climbs charts globally despite military service.
SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan is dominating both domestic and international music charts with his new solo track, 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake).'
According to his agency, Pledis Entertainment, the song soared to the top of the real-time chart on Bugs, a Korean music platform, immediately after its release on January 27th at 8 PM KST. As of January 28th, 9 AM KST, 'Better Half' has also entered the iTunes Top Songs charts in nine countries, including Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.
The song, featuring Japanese piano trio Omoinotake, expresses unwavering love and devotion despite physical distance. Jeonghan’s warm vocals blend harmoniously with Omoinotake’s melodic instrumentation. The group is known for their work on the theme song 'Ikuokukonen (幾億光年)' for the TBS drama 'Eye Love You.'
The Japanese version of 'Better Half' will be included in Omoinotake’s upcoming album, set for release on January 29th. Additionally, a studio recording video featuring Jeonghan will be unveiled on Omoinotake’s official YouTube channel the same day.
Meanwhile, Jeonghan and SEVENTEEN are currently on their 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN ASIA,' connecting with fans worldwide. After successful concerts at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan and the Singapore National Stadium, the group will perform at the Jakarta International Stadium on February 8th and 9th and the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on February 15th and 16th.
