Former WINNER member Nam Tae Hyun has drawn attention for his ongoing efforts in drug prevention advocacy and his journey toward recovery.

Nam Tae Hyun had previously made headlines, being embroiled in controversy due to drug-related charges. Following his constant time in the spotlight, he has turned his life around and is using his personal experiences to advocate for drug prevention programs in South Korea.

Recently, a netizen curious about Nam Tae Hyun's whereabouts gave an update in a popular online forum and revealed that the singer is continuing to actively participate in drug prevention campaigns and working diligently to rebuild his career.

His latest activities include speaking at the '2024 Singing for Recovery: RE-VIVE Talk Concert,' held in October 2024. Not only that, Nam Tae Hyun resumed his musical activities by releasing new tracks on his YouTube channel.

Additionally, Nam Tae Hyun recently earned a 'Certificate of Completion for the Recovery Support Training Program,' further enhancing his ability to contribute to drug prevention efforts.

Since his indictment for drug use, Nam Tae Hyun has taken continuous active steps toward rehabilitation and advocacy. He has also participated in various interviews to raise awareness of the difficulties in overcoming drug addiction alone.

Korean netizens are impressed with Nam Tae Hyun's consistent effort in drug prevention campaigns and shared words of support.

They commented"Anyone can make mistakes, but very few people can overcome those mistakes and rise again. Hopefully, apart from the defeat, other YG drug offenders will also overcome their struggles and never touch drugs again." "It’s already incredibly hard for someone to quit drinking or smoking, so imagine how difficult it must be to quit drugs and choose to live a better life. While I don’t think we need to actively cheer them on, I also don’t believe we should throw stones at someone who has made up their mind to quit drugs and rebuild their life. Drugs are, of course, bad and a crime, but taking someone who is reflecting, repenting, and trying to change, and saying they’ll never succeed for the rest of their life feels unfair," and "We should give credit to those who are at least making an effort."
