One netizen began the discussion after they shared on social media wondering if Red Velvet would be one of the last girl groups with all Korean members. The netizen wrote on social media X, "It seems like Red Velvet might be the last all-Korean girl group created by a major entertainment agency. With the population declining, the number of Korean beauties will decrease, and the Korean market itself will shrink. However, other Korean netizens refuted the argument by naming more girl groups with all Korean members that debuted after Red Velvet.
