On April 1st KST, JYP Entertainment announced that Stray Kids had donated a total of 800 million won (~545,000 USD) to support emergency relief for residents affected by massive wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces.
The group contributed 400 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and another 400 million won to the social welfare foundation World Vision. The funds will be used to provide emergency supplies, living expenses for displaced residents, and support for firefighters.
Through their agency, Stray Kids stated, “We deeply empathize with those who have lost their daily lives in an instant, and we want to express our gratitude to everyone working hard on the ground.”
Stray Kids have consistently spread positive influence through both group and individual efforts. Since 2014, they have supported international children’s causes, provided meal kits for vulnerable communities in Korea, and donated to global relief efforts such as the Syria–Türkiye earthquake and food crisis response programs. Most recently, members donated 100 million won each on their birthdays as a meaningful way to give back for the love they’ve received from fans.
