G-Dragon’s 2025 world tour 'Übermensch' kicked off in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, with a spectacular opening, but some audience members' inconsiderate behavior has sparked controversy.
Held on March 29, G-Dragon’s highly anticipated concert saw all 60,000 seats sold out over two days, marking his first solo concert in eight years.
However, due to worsening weather conditions, the concert was delayed, leaving some fans enduring long waits in the cold.

Originally scheduled to start at 6:30 PM, organizers announced a last-minute delay to 7:00 PM due to strong winds and safety concerns.
Despite the revised schedule, the performance did not begin at 7:00 PM as planned, and G-Dragon finally took the stage at 7:43 PM. Apologizing for the delay, he told the audience, “The weather is really cold today, and I’m sorry for starting this way.”
Following the concert, photos of litter scattered across the venue floor circulated in online communities, sparking debate.

Images showed discarded merchandise boxes and plastic bags strewn across the area, prompting mixed reactions from netizens. Some questioned whether there were enough trash bins, while others criticized attendees, saying, “If there were no bins, they should have taken their trash with them,” and “The lack of manners is disappointing.”
Meanwhile, G-Dragon plans to donate 300 million KRW (~204,415 USD) from the concert’s proceeds to aid wildfire recovery efforts in North and South Gyeongsang provinces.
