Ock Joo Hyun, former Fin.K.L member and current musical actress, has publicly shown support for G-Dragon amid criticism over his live vocals at his recent solo concert.
On March 31st KST, Ock shared photos on Instagram from G-Dragon’s ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN KOREA’ concert and expressed sympathy for the difficult conditions he performed under. “After hearing what people said the night before, I dressed like I was camping under a blanket. It broke my heart to see an artist breathing in such cold air for so long outdoors,” she wrote.
She added, “It’s unbelievable to be singing in this kind of freezing air. I wanted to wrap a blanket around him.” A video posted showed her bundled up in a long padded coat, hood, scarf, and waving a daisy-shaped light stick.
Ock also shared a clip from the performance, captioned with “Looks great,” and “So cool, deadly.”
G-Dragon’s concert, held on March 29th and 30th at Goyang Sports Complex, marked his return to the stage after eight years. Despite high anticipation, both shows were delayed due to inclement weather, and his live vocals drew heavy criticism from some attendees.
Following the Korean leg, G-Dragon will head to Tokyo on May 10th–11th, with stops planned in the Philippines, Osaka, Macau, Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong as part of his Asia tour.
