NiziU have successfully wrapped up their arena tour and returned with a new EP, continuing their strong momentum in Japan.
On April 1 KST, the JYP Entertainment girl group released their second Japanese EP 'GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU', along with the title track “Too Bad.”
The album captures a confident and determined spirit, highlighting the group’s message of moving forward to achieve their goals. It includes three tracks: the title song “Too Bad,” a fan dedicated track “Light it Up” co written by the members, and “Dear…,” a reinterpretation of a hit song by Japanese singer Kana Nishino.
All three tracks were pre released ahead of the official album launch, building anticipation among fans. The title track “Too Bad” was first performed during NiziU’s recent arena tour, drawing an enthusiastic response from audiences.
Alongside the album, the music video for “Too Bad” was also unveiled, featuring the members’ expressive performances, confident attitude, and dynamic choreography with multiple dancers.
This marks NiziU’s first EP release in approximately one year and nine months since their previous project 'RISE UP' in July 2024.
Recently, the group successfully concluded their Japan arena tour NiziU Live with U 2026 NEW EvoNUtion. The tour spanned five cities including Aichi, Hokkaido, Osaka, Tokyo, and Fukuoka, with all 12 shows completely sold out. The concerts drew a total of 120,000 attendees, showcasing the group’s growth and expanding popularity.
Looking ahead, NiziU are set to hold their second dome tour in June, marking their return to large scale dome venues for the first time in over three years. The tour will take place at Kyocera Dome Osaka on June 6 and 7, followed by Tokyo Dome on June 13 and 14, raising expectations among fans for their next chapter.
