Actress Ryu Hwayoung, formerly of T-ara, has announced her upcoming marriage.
On April 1 KST, Ryu Hwayoung shared the news through her personal social media account, revealing that she will tie the knot on September 12. In her message, she expressed gratitude for the support she has received, writing, “I sincerely thank everyone for the warm congratulations. To those I couldn’t greet personally, I’m sharing my thoughts here.”
She continued, “With excitement and certainty, we have decided to walk the same path together. Beyond love, we have chosen to become everything to each other. On September 12, 2026, we are getting married.”
Alongside the announcement, she posted a photo of herself enjoying a quiet moment with her fiancé over wine, capturing a glimpse of their happiness.
Her fiancé is known to be a businessman three years her senior.
Ryu Hwayoung first gained recognition as a member of the girl group T-ara before transitioning into acting. She has since remained active in the industry, continuing to build her career on screen.
