The police investigating the death of singer Wheesung have received the autopsy results from the National Forensic Service (NFS).
On March 31, a police official stated during a regular press briefing, "We have received the autopsy results" and confirmed that "no signs of criminal activities (foul play) were found."
However, out of respect for the deceased's honor and to prevent secondary harm to the bereaved family, the police have decided not to disclose the specific cause of death.
Previously, on the evening of March 10, Wheesung was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
At the time of discovery, no signs of forced entry or indications of foul play were found. The police requested an autopsy from the NFS, and the initial findings stated that the "cause of death was undetermined."
