Lee Jin Hyuk is set to join season 6 of 'SNL Korea' as a new cast member.

According to his agency, Bill Entertainment, the singer and actor will be working alongside 'SNL Korea' veterans including Shin Dong Yup, Ahn Young Mi, Jung Sang Hoon, Kim Min Kyo, Lee Su Ji, Kim Ah Young, and Ji Ye Eun. He will also be joining fellow new cast members 'Comedy Big League's Choi So Yeon and 'Lovely Runner' actress Seo Hye Won.

Through a press statement, Lee Jin Hyuk shared his excitement about the opportunity, saying, "I'm thrilled to be joining the new season of 'SNL Korea.' It still feels like a dream, and I can’t quite believe it yet. It’s an honor to work with such respected seniors and an amazing staff. I will take on this responsibility and work hard to show a new side of Lee Jin Hyuk."

Meanwhile, Lee Jin Hyuk is beloved as both a singer and actor, having debuted with the boy group UP10TION and transitioning into a solo artist career. Most recently, he wrapped up promotions for his 6th mini album 'NEW QUEST: JUNGLE' and appeared in the JTBC drama 'No Secrets.'

The new season of 'SNL Korea' will premiere on Coupang Play on August 31 at 8 PM KST.
