Mido and Falasol return with new OST for ‘Resident Playlist’
The beloved band Mido and Falasol, born from the hit series ‘Hospital Playlist’, is set to return with a brand-new OST for the show’s spin-off, ‘Resident Playlist’. According to Studio Maum C, the new track will be released on April 20th at 6 p.m. KST through various streaming platforms.
Mido and Falasol is a band formed by actors Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do, who starred in Hospital Playlist seasons 1 and 2. It marks their first release in approximately four years, and their participation in the OST is said to be a gesture of encouragement and support for the spin-off series.
Known for emotionally resonant tracks like “Me to You, You to Me,” “Aloha,” and “I Knew I Love,” the band previously captivated fans with their live-style performances and heartfelt harmonies that enhanced the drama’s storytelling. Their past OSTs consistently topped domestic music charts and became cultural staples beyond the show.
Expectations are high for the upcoming release, especially with Studio Maum C returning to produce the OST. The studio has once again assembled an all-star lineup of K-pop artists including Stray Kids’ Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N, IVE’s Ahn Yujin, D.O., Winter, Minnie, TXT, and SEVENTEEN’s DK, who are contributing emotionally rich songs to Resident Playlist week after week.
The new OST featuring Mido and Falasol will be available for streaming on April 20th at 6 p.m. KST.
