YG Entertainment has responded to reports of CL and Yang Hyun Suk meeting ahead of 2NE1's 15th anniversary.
On May 17, reports stated CL and YG Entertainment founder and current executive producer Yang Hyun Suk had a secret meeting, and many speculated plans are in the works as the meeting took place before 2NE1's 15th anniversary. In response, YG stated, "It was not an official meeting in terms of the label. It's difficult to confirm."
Earlier, the 4 former 2NE1 members took to Instagram to share group photos for their anniversary, which was a welcome sight for fans.
In related news, 2NE1 officially disbanded in 2016. They most recently performed together on stage at the '2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival'.

I honestly think that the meeting’s probably about the trademark of their name. They’re probably dying to do an official but in case you don’t know, they can’t use 2NE1. When they performed in Coachella they couldn’t even introduce themselves as 2NE1. 😭😭😭😭
