It has been nearly a year and a half since the gaslighting and cheating controversy surrounding NCT's Lucas. Since the controversy, Lucas has been on a hiatus from entertainment activities and only updating his social media.

Then back in February of this year, there were speculations that Lucas might be making a return to his activities after SM Entertainment's CEO Lee Sung Soo updated his Instagram with a set of photos of him and Lucas sitting at a section of the SM building.

It seems that Lucas is slowly preparing as he uploaded another dance practice video on his Instagram on April 11. In the video, Lucas is seen dancing at a dance studio at SM Entertainment.

After the video was uploaded, there have been mixed reactions. Despite Lucas' dedication to practice, not all Korean netizens share the same enthusiasm as international fans.
