ITZY's 'Cheshire' wrapped up first-day sales on Hanteo.
According to the data released by Hanteo, ITZY's sixth mini-album, 'Cheshire,' recorded over 275,000 copies sold on the first day of release and around 43,000 copies on the seventh day, totaling 633,248 units sold in the first week of release, setting a new record for the group.
ITZY is the fifth K-Pop female group to have an album exceeding 600,000 copies sold during the first week of release, following BLACKPINK, aespa, IVE, and (G)I-DLE.
'Cheshire' has become the group's highest-selling album in first-week sales, surpassing the number of copies their fifth mini-album 'Checkmate' had, which accumulated over 472,000 units sold on the first day of its release.
Congratulations to ITZY!
And people are saying their popularity is declining. Well, bad publicity is indeed the most viral and it actually just helped Itzy break their own record and enter a selected top 5. Tks to the haters and kpop fans that were conniving.
