MBC's drama 'May I Help You', starring Hyeri and Lee Jun Young will be canceling this week's broadcast to partake in the national mourning for the recent Itaewon tragedy.
On November 3 KST, officials from MBC's drama 'May I Help You' revealed that they will be canceling broadcasts, which had originally been scheduled for this week. They stated, "The main story background of 'May I Help You' is that of a funeral, where the main character is a funeral director who listens to the requests of the deceased. Due to the drama's content and development process, it could cause pain for viewers and the public who were directly or indirectly affected by [the Itaewon tragedy]. As a result, we ultimately decided to cancel broadcasts for this week."
They continued, "Regarding our decision to cancel broadcasts this week in consideration of the bereaved families, as well as to bring comfort to our viewers and the nation, we ask for your understanding."
