It was revealed that the actress appeared for the filming of the drama just 25 days after giving birth. She shared on her Instagram on August 5, "I was cast at the very last minute so I filmed 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' just 25 days after giving birth," along with a series of photos.

Lee Moon Jung included the photos of the filming and also photos taken with her fellow actresses on the episode. The actress also shared, "My pelvis and back hurt a little," explaining how it felt to film so soon after giving birth.

She added, "I was really grateful and happy that I was able to work with such a caring and considerate staff. I was actually worried that I would not be able to make a comeback for a while after giving birth."
