IU turns down upcoming drama 'The Queen of Tears' by 'Crash Landing on You' screenwriter

IU has turned down the upcoming drama 'The Queen of Tears'.

On April 6, reports revealed IU would likely star in a new drama by 'Crash Landing on You' screenwriter Park Ji Eun. The singer-actor's label EDAM Entertainment stated, "It's true she was offered a role in writer Park Ji Eun's new drama, but she respectfully turned down the offer."

Park Ji Eun is known to have been the creator behind top dramas like 'My Love From a Star', 'The Producers', 'The Legend of the Blue Sea', and 'Crash Landing on You'.
