On May 8, the Seoul Police Department's intellectual crime division confirmed that they have finally submitted arrest warrants against former Big Bang member Seungri (29) and his former business partner Yoo In Suk (34).
The two individual currently face charges of soliciting prostitution from a Christmas party back in 2015, and then from a birthday party in 2017 by hiring female employees from adult entertainment establishments. Furthermore, Seungri and Yoo In Suk face charges of embezzling revenues from 'Burning Sun' toward another lounge club in Gangnam, 'Monkey Museum'. Police are also seeking charges against the two individuals for suspicions of embezzling fake deposits into another individual, Lin.
In addition to various accounts of embezzlement and illegal monetary fund activities, Seungri also faces over 20 different accounts of distributing illegal, sexual content such as images and videos via the social platform Kakao Talk.
Since January of this year, police have investigated over 17 individuals connected to the 'Burning Sun' case.
So far none of the other kpop sites mention distribution of videos and pictures as part of the arrest warrant. They only mention prostitution and embezzlement. Some clarification would be nice...
