A female actress in her late 20's was killed in a highway car accident, media outlets reported back on May 7.

According to the Gyeonggi Kimpo Police Station, the accident occurred on the Incheon International Airport Expressway on May 6 at approximately 3:50 AM KST. A taxi driver 'A' (56) and a passenger car driver 'B' (73) each hit female actress 'C' (28) in succession, as 'C' was standing outside her parked Mercedes-Benz. 'C' was killed on site, and both 'A' and 'B' are facing charges for her death. 

Reportedly, 'C' chose to stop her vehicle in the middle of the expressway's right lane with her emergency lights on when her husband requested a sudden stop, in order to use the restroom. After stopping the vehicle, 'C' got out of her vehicle, and as a result, she was first hit by taxi driver 'A' who was driving in the expressway's left lane, then also by passenger car driver 'B' who was driving in the right lane. 'C's husband allegedly told police, "When I returned to the car after using the restroom in the vicinity's bushes, the accident had already happened." 

Police are currently investigating the exact reasons why 'C' may have stepped out of the vehicle, why she chose to stop her vehicle on the expressway rather than on a shoulder, and more. 

Media reports say that 'C' is an actress who recently appeared in a morning drama series, after originally debuting as a girl group member in 2010. It's said that she was active in a variety of fields including in dramas, films, and plays.
