Yook Joong Wan spoke out about Rose Motel's disbandment. 

Back in November, Rockstar Music and Live announced Rose Motel has decided to disband after 7 years due to conflict among the members. The agency also shared Yook Joong Wan and Kang Joon Woo will be promoting as the duo, Yook Joong Wan Band, from now on. Meanwhile, the other members - Bae Sang Jae, Lim Kyung Sup, and Yoon Jang Hyun - claimed they have been kicked out of the band. 

On the January 16 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star,' Yook Joong Wan opened up about the controversial disbandment, and said, "A band is similar to dating and marriage. It's all good in the beginning but then the conversations slowly start to disappear and you end up reaching a divorce."

He continued, "In the beginning, Kang Joon Woo and I were an acoustic duo but we formed a team and promoted as a band for 7 years. While trying to adjust things, we ended up arguing here and there, then we gradually stopped talking to one another, and couldn't be an encouragement to one another."

Yook Joon Wan said, "We met as hyung-dongsaeng, but we are worse than strangers now after the split so it's very sad. I am going to be very cautious about partnerships from now on."
