On August 7, according to a rep from his new label H1GHR MUSIC, G.Soul is planning to release his new mini album in the beginning of September.
After 15 years as a trainee, he finally debuted in 2015. However, G.Soul left JYP Entertainment back in June and joined Jay Park and producer Cha Cha Malone's new hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC.
G.Soul had commented, "Having been close friends with Jay Park hyung at a young age, we came to a mutual agreement. I learned a lot under JYP and although it was a fun time, I am looking forward to my next new adventure elsewhere."

Ever since signing with H1GHR MUSIC, G.Soul released singles such as "Tequila" and "Bad Habit". His upcoming mini album will be his first full fledged project under a new record label, leading to much anticipation among fans.
