Everyone has probably at least once sang the line 'Shy Shy Shy' from TWICE's "Cheer Up". The hot idol group revealed their thoughts on the new trend during an interview with My Daily.
Sana, who sings this part in their song, said, "During the recording, the only thoughts I had in my mind were that I wanted to work hard, and also do well. But then at the showcase many people seemed to like this part, so I wondered, 'Why are they liking it so much? This is awesome!' The reporters also wrote many wonderful articles for it, so I was amazed and asked myself, 'What is happening?'"
She continued, "Many artists and sunbaenims used it as hashtags in their Instagram updates, and it was also used in variety show captions. It's so amazing."

Nayeon also showed amazement at the trend, saying,"Because of our schedules we don't have time to go out, but we can still feel that the number of people singing along to our song and cheering for us has increased. The 'Shy Shy Shy' trend is so amazing. I never thought it would be such a big hit. There are points in every song that needs to be emphasized, and I think Sana's inaccurate pronunciation has highlighted the part."
