Park Bo Gum has opened an open chat room to communicate with fans for free.

Earlier this year, the actor posted an announcement on his fan webpage revealing that he had created an open chatroom on Kakaotalk for his fans. An open chat on Kakatalk allows users to join a communication group chat using a public profile name. This function allows users to maintain privacy without revealing their personal information.

Initially, fans thought this would be an event for the New Year but one fan revealed that the actor is still very active in the chat. The fan shared captures of the chat room and explained, "He really started chatting with fans in real-time on KakaoTalk. I thought it would just be a one-day event, but Park Bo Gum didn’t leave the chatroom. After that, he kept showing up whenever he had time."

This fan continued to explain that Park Bo Gum continued to share selfies and communicate with fans. At one point, so many fans were talking at the same time that Park Bo Gum even created a rule in the open chat.

The fan revealed Park Bo Gum is still active in the chat and shared how he had created a free Bubble chat for fans on Kakaotalk since the Bubble app requires a subscription fee.
