Koo Jun Yup is indefinitely halting his activities in Taiwan.
On February 19, Taiwanese media outlet ET Today reported that "Koo Jun Yup is indefinitely suspending all public events, including DJ shows, press conferences, and fan meetings."
Koo Jun Yup was scheduled to attend a flash mob event in Taiwan this month. However, he canceled his plans as he could not endure the pain of bereavement. He will also not be attending a medical center opening event next month. Since the funeral of the late Barbie Hsu, Koo Jun Yup has remained in Taiwan to stay by her family’s side.

Expressing his wishes, he stated, "I want an independent space where I can visit Barbie Hsu anytime." After discussions with the family, they decided to choose a different burial site, delaying the funeral arrangements.
The timeline for his return to activities remains unknown. According to local media, he intends to make a decision after healing from his emotional pain.
Meanwhile, Barbie Hsu passed away on February 2 at 7 AM at a hospital in Tokyo, Japan. She was hospitalized due to flu symptoms but ultimately passed away from Pneumonia. At the time, Koo Jun Yup shared his grief, stating, "Right now, I am going through an indescribable sorrow and pain, feeling as if my insides are being torn apart."
