The collaboration between BTS member Jin and Coldplay is setting social media on fire.

On April 28, Coldplay’s official X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts shared photos and videos from their 'Music of the Spheres' world tour, which began at Goyang Sports Complex on April 16.

Among the many photos of guest performers, Coldplay released two special photos featuring Jin, along with two videos—one showing Chris Martin leading a singalong with the crowd, and another capturing a joyful moment of Chris and Jin jumping and laughing together on stage, highlighting their close friendship.

Jin joined Coldplay as a special guest on April 19 and again for the final show on April 25 in Korea. He performed "The Astronaut", his solo track co-written and co-composed with Coldplay, and 'My Universe', the collaborative song between BTS and Coldplay. Jin captivated both fans and the public with his stunning visuals and his powerful vocals, earning widespread praise.

Chris Martin, who has repeatedly stated that it was Jin’s suggestion that led to the BTS–Coldplay collaboration, once again expressed his affection during the concert:"Thank you for introducing us to BTS, for being so kind, and for singing with us today. I’ll always love you."

Their friendship runs deep—back in 2021, when BTS visited New York, Jin casually complimented Chris’s guitar, and in response, Chris gifted Jin the guitar he had played for over a decade, on the spot.

Before their Seoul concert, Coldplay teased Jin’s upcoming appearance. On April 13, following their final Hong Kong performance, the band posted on X:"Hong Kong, that was incredible. Next stop: Seoul," and included a photo of Wootteo, a character created by Jin, hinting at his participation. Since being gifted the Wootteo plush by Jin in 2022, Coldplay has brought it along to every concert around the world as a tribute to their bond.

After Jin’s appearance at the Seoul concert on April 19, Coldplay posted the next day with a photo of Jin and Chris Martin performing together, writing:"Thank you Jin, thank you Seoul. We will never forget these moments,"
accompanied by a purple heart emoji.

On April 26, Jin also shared moments from the concert with Coldplay on his personal Instagram, further drawing attention to their extraordinary friendship and spectacular joint performance, which has become a global sensation—once again proving their overwhelming influence and star power.
