Singer Yoo Seung Jun, recently met his senior, Tae Jin Ah.

On April 27, Yoo Seung Jun shared a photo with Tae Jin Ah on his personal social media. In the photo, Yoo Seung Jun is wearing a white shirt, while Tae Jin Ah is dressed in a tuxedo, seemingly just after finishing a performance. The two can be seen embracing warmly, showcasing their close friendship.

A fan commented, "Did you come to Korea?" to which Yoo Seung Jun replied, "No." He also clarified another fan’s comment, stating, "I’m in the U.S."

Yoo Seung Jun debuted in 1997 with his first album 'West Side', gaining popularity with hit songs like 'Gaui' and 'Me Me Me' thanks to his striking looks and impressive talent. However, as he was about to enlist for mandatory military service in late 2001, he took advantage of a military postponement and a return guarantee system to travel to the U.S. 

After violating an agreement with the Military Manpower Administration, he obtained U.S. citizenship in January 2002 and announced his intention to renounce his Korean nationality, sparking public outrage. Following this, he was banned from entering South Korea under Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Immigration Control Act, which restricts entry for individuals whose actions may harm national interests. He has not been able to enter South Korea for over 20 years, except for a brief visit in 2003 when his father-in-law passed away.

In 2015, Yoo Seung Jun applied for an Overseas Korean visa, but the U.S. Consulate General in Los Angeles rejected his application. In October of the same year, he filed his first lawsuit requesting the cancellation of the visa denial. After several legal proceedings, including an appeal, the Supreme Court ruled in his favor. However, the Los Angeles consulate maintained its stance, stating that Yoo Seung Joon’s evasion of military service could harm national interests and again denied his visa application. Yoo Seung Jun won another lawsuit at the Supreme Court, but the consulate continued to reject his application.

In September of last year, Yoo Seung Jun filed a new lawsuit against the government, initiating his third administrative lawsuit. On April 20, the Seoul Administrative Court held the first hearing regarding his request to confirm the non-existence of an entry ban and to cancel the visa denial.

Recently, Yoo Seung Jun expressed his regrets, saying, "I’m sorry that I made a reality where people can’t even proudly say I’m a Yoo Seung Jun fan. It’s all my fault and my shortcomings. I feel like I’ve only brought disappointment and regret."
